Carmageddon ( blackberry game)
Description:
Carmageddon are variations to the games played in the blackberry version. There is a standard race, time trials, keep the flag, destruction derbies, etc and are all competed against 3 AI cars. The learning curve is quite high and the controls take a while to master before you can settle into the game. There's nothing particularly clever about the controls you just have to learn when to brake and perfect high speed cornering while avoiding the buildings. You can find yourself wedged in a little corner and by the time you have manoeuvred yourself free, the race is over.

For every event you win in Championship mode, you are awarded points. What do points make... prizes. In this case its speed, acceleration, grip, damage or armour upgrades. There's a lot to choose from and I cant help but think that if you make the wrong choices you will find yourself stuck on a particular event. I admit that I am stuck on one of the 'keep the flag' events. In these events, a single flag is up for grabs and once an opponent has the flag, you can bash into him to take it off him. You win the race once all the other cars are mashed. They win the race if they can keep the flag for about a minute. Naturally, the emphasis is on damaging the other cars or driving around like a loon waiting for them to crash first. If you supe up your car with the emphasis on grip or speed then you will find it difficult to win this event. Unfortunately you can proceed to the next set of events until all the previous events are completed.
