The human body has many systems. Each one of these systems handles a unique function and is important in its own way.  An example of such a system is the immune system.

The immune system is a network of cells that are wholly responsible for maintaining your body's immunity and overall health. These cells are similar to an army in the sense that they attack and resist germs and other parasites and protect your body from diseases.

It is important to be aware of the role that your immune system plays in combating diseases. If you often feel tired and/or have frequent colds and flu it may be an indication that your immune system is not functioning well.

Avoid caffeine, alcohol, drugs, high-fat foods, excessive sugar-all these are harmful to your immune system as they deplete your energy and thereby the efficiency of your immune system.
