While this WORKS on the Storm, it seems like a half-azzed port instead of a game actually designed for the Storm.

You cant touch the map and do anything. Instead, you have to use the (soft) arrow keys that take up the bottom of the screen (instead of the game being full screen).

All touch functions are "click-less". Touching the screen (w/o clicking) triggers the buttons. This is hard to get used to (at least for me).

The instructions refer to the "two soft keys".

Plus a bunch of other (this was designed for a different phone) quirks.

It is playable though.

Yes this is true this game was not designed to function with touch features on the Storm it wad designed to use with the virtual keyboard. However this is the Storm version and not another model version posted as a Storm version if that were the case it would not recognize the track ball module like the other version use and you would have a hard time navigating and selecting options.  If you purchase the game from the developers site you would get the same exact version. We must keep in mind that not all games for the Storm include touch features especially the first set of games released for the device. As a matter of fact there are still some developers that are releasing new games without touch features. Hopefully their new age of empire game they will release soon or might already be released will be touch support.

I didnt mean to imply that this was NOT the Storm version. It obviously is because it does work - unlike the others.

All I was trying to say was that this is a CHEESY port on the developer's part in order to make a quick "Storm version".

I thoroughly appreciate you posting it and dont mean to take anything away from that. It's THEM...not YOU...that I'm bashing. I would have been pissed if I bought it.

No worries. I also don't like it when the developers take an existing version of a game and quickly and poorly re code it to function on the Storm it does ruin the whole purpose of the touch screen concept I really hope the new age of empires game will support touch feature plus the graphics in the new one looks to have improved.
