Receiving Data Through Bluetooth

Hello,
I have a pearl 8100, I've never been able to receive any data (mp3, videos etc.) from other phones. Whenever I ask my friends to send me a song or something through Bluetooth, it either says connection failed or failed to send file on their phones, and I never get any messeges telling me that someone is trying to send me something.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

you need to open Media then press the menu key and then select receive through bluetooth, providing you are paired with the other device you will then receive just fine. Your friend has to send after you have selected receive.
