facebook notification links aren't working!

the links that the facebook app gives me in the notification box (tagged pictures, comments, etc) don't work. when i try to select it to take me to the facebook site directly from the app, the page that comes up is blank except for the facebook logo at the top and language options at the bottom. it works if i go to the browser and access facebook from there, but is there any way that i can get these links working?

I had to go to facebook on my PC and set the notifications through there, i guess at some point i turned them off so when i got facebook on the pphone it didnt send me anything.
