Dr Who vs Daleks (81xx, 88xx)
You've probably at least once found yourself playing a game for hours despite it's lack of mind blowing graphics (i.e Dope Wars).
Well, this is one of my favorite games despite it's rather mundane graphics - Dalek.
You are Dr Who and have to escape the Dalek robots.
How?
Every move you make they close in on you. Use your wits to get them to collide with each other and turn into wreckage. Any robots that then hit that also perish. Be careful not to hit wreckage yourself or you too will die.
Use the keypad to move (you can use the trackball too, but the lack of diagonal movement will quickly be your doing). If you find yourself surrounded without a move hit 0 to teleport (you may wind up moving to an area that the robots move into after your move), or once per level you can also use the sonic screwdriver by hitting *, which will kill any robots 1 space from you to give you some wiggle room. # will freeze you in your spot and allow the robots to move until they either all die (if you've lined them up in the path of wreckage) or they get you. 5 will keep you in spot and allow them to move one space. The rest of the keys are all directional.
For the 88xx hit Alt-shift to lock in the Num keys (NUM should appear in the upper right). Provided files might work on the 83xx too.
Be careful, it's addictive. I've wound up playing for hours at a time.
