When I open DM, Documents to go Standard is not one of the apps listed that I could remove from my device.  Does that mean I have to delete using the phone only or is there something to DM that I am missing?

BTW my documents to go standard won't open doc files and gives me  index - 1 > = 3.  No one knows what this means or why it is appearing.  

So, I would very much like to get rid of it and try this premium version.

Ok so when in dm if you see the docs to go place a check mark in the check box to delete. It should only be grayed out if the app is already un installed. Even if this app is un installed meaning the version that came with your device even if un installed it will still show but grayed out and you cannot highlight and delete permanently. That error could be based on the version of docs you are using and the file type. For example if you are running os 4.5 that device came with docs 1.2 which does not read .docx extension. Upgrade first if you cannot un install then try to install and overwrite I don't recommend this way however
