if you have only the jad file it will not help you to install via DM the Jad file is only the file that tells the server what COD's to load. The ALX file is the file that tells DM what COD's to load.Author:

Here is a link to some software I've successfully used to convert JAR files to COD/ALX.
It takes a little while to get everything set, but once you do, it works flawlessly. Here are some tips...
For one, download and install Java J2SE SDK (just google search it), JRE (java runtime environment) and Blackberry JDE 4.5(available at Blackberry's site).
Once you've got these downloaded and installed, and you have the BB_File_Converters.zip extracted, go to the JAR2COD folder, rename JAR2COD.bat to JAR2COD.txt, then open in text edit or something. Make sure the JDEPATH line (close to the top) has the correct path for the Blackberry JDE program you installed.
Once this is done, just go to the JAR2ALX folder, run the JAR2ALX exe file, and follow the directions. You will be able to specify a save path, and once done, your COD and ALX file should be at the path specified.
I had to figure most of this out on my own, so it should save you CONSIDERABLE time.
Thanks!
By the way, I am still trying to get download priviledges...anyone know how I can go about doing that? The FAQS on this website aren't so clear.Author:
