This is a hack to get video recording on the 8100.  With OS 4.5 most other BB's with cameras got video recording, but not the 8100.  With this you will be able to record video.

Obviously, it can't be that easy.  You don't get nice, color, video.  The video is pink and green.  However, I'm uploading it since I know it's better to have a gimped something than a perfect nothing.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

It works fine on my 8100, but that doesn't mean it will on yours.  Supposedly there's a risk of this causing hardware damage to your 8100's camera module.  I don't know if that's true or if that's just meant to scare people off.  Either way, don't install it unless you're willing to take that chance.  I don't use it that often since pink and green video isn't all that appealing, but it has come in handy a few times.

After installation you'll have an additional icon that looks like a camcorder.  Not all options are available in it, but basic recording is there and you can watch the videos back.
