Not sure what u did then. Do not mix versions I am not sure how you installed pdf when this version never came with pdf. The pdf feature started with version 1.5. This works on all blackberries believe me. I am not sure why so many encounter problems. Your best bet is to un install the one that came with your device and restart to make sure all modules are removed then install. If you install this version there is no Pdf to go so you will need 1.5 or 1.6 or 1.7. Again not sure why there are install issues especially from v1.7 as the screen shots at the bottom of that post were taken from an 8100, 8300, 8800 8900 and 9000 that's how I know they work.

No it will not and the reason is because the serial is associated with the registration number of the app. Plus the free version does not come with the excell app so you would have to download a trial premium version and register on their site to get a registration number then from there that registration number is used to create a serial. There should be enough serials circulating around for a key gen I just don't have time to try to make one.

Wouldn't their registration server notice that a whole bunch of devices are registering with the same number and key? Also, do they track our PINs?

The app does not need a internet connection to register meaning it does not verify the serial on any servers. The serial is based on the registration number meaning it has a coder that in crypts the registration into a serial based on th sequence of digits and letters in the registration number. This is why people without a data plan have never complained about not being able to register. With this being said it should also answer your pin question
